New Research Grants: Improving the County Health Rankings
Looking for an opportunity to use your research skills to impact community health across the country? The University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI) is currently accepting research proposals for County Health Rankings Research Grants. County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, a collaborative program between UWPHI and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, provides information, tools, and resources to help mobilize local communities, national partners, and leaders across multiple sectors to improve health. The Research Grants will serve an important role in strengthening and evaluating the Rankings through:
- Quantitative analyses of Rankings data or results;
- Refinement of current methodology used in the Rankings model; or
- Studies of the quantitative or qualitative impact of the Rankings.
Up to $300,000 will be available for research funded under this Call for Proposals. Brief proposals are due February 18, 2015. For more information and application form, visit http://www.countyhealthrankings.org.
