Racial Equity Impact Assessment
A Racial Equity Impact Assessment (REIA) examines how different racial and ethnic groups will likely be affected by a proposed action or decision. REIAs are used to minimize unanticipated adverse consequences in a variety of contexts, including the analysis of proposed policies, institutional practices, programs, plans and budgetary decisions.

Join us and two racial justice champions as we observe the National Day of Racial Healing. We'll examine the impact of settler colonialism on indigenous populations and explore strategies to promote racial healing in all communities.

It was an honor to share a virtual space with so many of you on November 5 and November 12 as we continue a shared pursuit of how to address the presence of systemic racism and its impact on public health in our communities. States, counties, and cities across the country are answering the call by declaring racism as a public health crisis or emergency, which is an important first step in the movement to advance racial equity and justice.
